First Session on this Friday, June 14th

Join us for the first session of Prison Politics for Anti-Capitalists for an introduction to the Prison Industrial Complex and the political economy driving the growth of the California State Prison system. We begin with Emily Harris from Californians United for a Responsible Budget (CURB) will present about the development and current trajectory of the prison industry. Urszula will continue by examining the concepts outlined by Emily through a specifically anti-capitalist lens. Be sure to review the readings and videos before class if possible.
